Homemade Drain Cleaner
When your drain clogs, usually you don't have drain cleaners just
laying around "just in case" usually the drain clogs then
you have to go to the hardware store to purchase one of the many
commercial drain cleaners. Making your own will save you time and
money.
Things that you will need:
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup baking soda
Kettle
Pour 1/2 a cup of baking soda down the drain followed by a 1/2
cup of vinegar. Close the drain opening or cover it. Let the mixture
sit for 5 to 10 minutes, Then pour a full kettle of boiling water
down.
* Never use this mixture if you've used commercial drain cleaners
or if there is any left in the clogged water.
